Discover the Best of the Philippines at the 35th Philippine Travel Mart

The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) is hosting the 35th Philippine Travel Mart, the country’s longest-running travel fair, from September 6 to 8 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The three-day event is expected to attract thousands of travelers and tourists from around the world, offering a unique opportunity to explore the Philippines’ diverse destinations and cultures.

This year’s Philippine Travel Mart features over 300 exhibitors, including tour operators, tourism offices, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and resorts. The event offers a one-stop shop for travel enthusiasts to explore new destinations, plan their trips, and avail of exclusive discounts. Visitors can expect to find great travel packages, deals, and discounts for popular destinations in the Philippines and abroad, including Asia, the US, Europe, and Australia.

The fair showcases the beauty and culture of the Philippines, with pavilions representing various regions, including Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Visitors can experience the unique attractions and offerings of each region, from the stunning beaches of Boracay to the vibrant cities of Manila and Davao, and the rich cultural heritage of the Cordillera Mountains.

The Philippine Travel Mart is also highlighting the country’s efforts to promote sustainable tourism practices that will benefit future generations. The event’s theme is “Love the NextGen Tourism,” which emphasizes the importance of responsible tourism practices that prioritize environmental sustainability and community engagement.

In addition to the exhibits, the event also features a range of activities and promotions, including cultural performances and culinary delights. Visitors can enjoy traditional Filipino cuisine and drinks, watch live music and dance performances, and participate in interactive activities.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco recently announced that the Philippines has reached 4.08 million international visitors as of September 5, halfway towards its target of 7.7 million by the end of 2024. The Department of Tourism (DOT) is promoting sustainable tourism practices and diversifying its tourism products to further attract international tourists.

The Philippine Travel Mart is co-presented by the DOT and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines. For three days, visitors can experience the best of what the Philippines has to offer at the SMX Convention Center. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover new destinations, plan your next trip, and enjoy exclusive travel deals.
