The media interaction on September 11 provided a comprehensive overview of the event’s programme and featured key industry leaders and stakeholders. The session was held in Meeting Room 3 at the SMX Convention Centre, highlighting the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing among industry experts.

The programme commenced at 2:00 P.M. with welcoming remarks from media advisors, followed by a distinguished welcome address and moderation by Mr Johnny Chotrani, Chairman of the Philippines-India Business Council. Mr Chotrani emphasised the significance of the expo in fostering international cooperation and advancing the Philippines’ energy and construction sectors.

Adding to the leadership insights, Warren Maralit, President of the Power Professionals Association of the Philippines, also shared valuable perspectives on the future of the power industry and its role in promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Further discussions featured Mr Anthony Lichauco, BOD/Corporate Secretary of the ICT Industry Council of the Philippines, and Ms Elena Fernando, Director of Unified Ecozones of the Philippines, focusing on digital transformation and ecozone developments. The session also included contributions from Mr Roehl Ramon A. Gurango, Board Trustee of the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines, and Mr Alejandro S. Mañalac, Vice President of the International Affairs Chamber of Real Estate & Builders Associations Inc. (CREBA).

Notably, Mr Mark Rola, Corporate Secretary of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (eVAP), shared insights on the electric vehicle industry’s growth and sustainability initiatives. The session concluded with a presentation from the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2), emphasising energy-saving strategies.
